you up and running quickly and easily. Our system uses an intuitive
process that guides you through most actions automatically, cutting
down on your time spent learning the program or training new employees.

“Things to Do” List
- Displays automatically each time the DPI-COBRA system is opened
and is automatically populated by changes in employee status and
time-sensitive events. Reminds you to perform over 28 COBRA-related
tasks. You will not miss important events because the “Things
to Do” screen won’t let you!
Document Warehouse
- Saves an exact copy of the notices and letters you send out – including
any changes you made to the document before it is printed and mailed.
If you need a document later, all you do is retrieve it from the
Data Warehouse. You won’t experience the frustration of having
to locate the employee’s file in some filing cabinet (or
box, if it’s from a previous year). You won’t even
have to get up from your computer!
Set-Up Wizards
- Eliminates excessive data entry. Just follow the instructions
on the screens, and you’ll have new custom tier structures
set up in a flash!
- Tier Wizard for easy benefit tier setup,
and to quickly create age- and sex-related tier structures.
- Group Coverage Wizard to easily add/remove
employee coverage, perform status and rate changes, and
make billing adjustments … all en masse.
- Client Participation Wizard for rapid
entry of essential dates of new client’s COBRA participants,
which get downloaded to the “Things to Do” list
with the new client’s required actions.
Census Import and Database Integration
- Shares information between DPI systems. If you already have
an employer in one DPI system, the information will be automatically
added to the other systems. Plus, if you are converting to DPI-COBRA
from another COBRA system, our import capabilities make it a convenient
and comprehensive process.
Letter and Report Customization
- Allows you to easily modify our letter templates at the administrator
level, group level, or on an individual basis. Each time you print
a document, the system remembers what customization to apply.
Invoicing
- Simplifies fee invoicing by creating invoices based on the criteria
you provide when you set up an employer group.
Miscellaneous
- Online reporting. Employers can log on to a secure web site
and enter qualifying events, which get downloaded to the “Things
to Do” list for your review and approval.
- System-generated checks to employers/carriers for receipts applied
in system. The system automatically retains user set fees and prints
checks to appropriate parties.
- Ability, with a single click, to reinstate coverage, undo COBRA
acceptance, or undo qualifying events.
